Detailed 7-Day Uganda Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Be picked up early by your 7-Day Uganda Wildlife Safari guide in Kampala or Entebbe and start off toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, you will make a stop at the equator for the experience of standing with one foot on either side of the Southern and Northern Hemispheres. Continuing on, you will have lunch either in the town of Mbarara or at the lodge, depending on the time. Enjoy the views from the lodge and relax in the evening.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up early for a game drive in the Kasenyi part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here you have the chance to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, an abundance of birds and more. Day 3: Tree-climbing lions in Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Head off to the Ishasha part of Queen Elizabeth National Park in the morning. The drive goes along an adventurous road and you have the chance of seeing baboons and elephants along the way. In Ishasha you can find topis and buffaloes, and search for the tree-climbing lions. The lions in this area are famous for climbing up great fig trees to take a rest.
