Detailed 11-Day Best of Tanzania & Zanzibar Safari
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
Today your 11-Day Best of Tanzania & Zanzibar Safari adventure begins! We will pick you up from your hotel in or around Arusha. During the 2.5 hour drive you will enjoy wonderful views of the landscape and local communities. Upon arrival at Tarangire National Park you will go on a game drive. This park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees, and tree climbing African pythons. At the end of the day, we will make our way to the Africa Safari Lake Manyara camp. Be sure to take a dive in the swimming pool!

Day 2-3: Serengeti National Park
On day two of 11-Day Best of Tanzania & Zanzibar Safari, we will head towards the Serengeti. After a few hours drive we will arrive at the Serengeti gate. After lunch we do a game drive all afternoon in this beautiful park. The Serengeti is known for its endless plains of savannah and forest landscapes. The park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and followers. At the end of the day, we arrive at Africa Safari Ikoma.
The next day we will start the day with a game drive in the Ikona Wildlife Management Area. In the afternoon we will explore the area by foot with a ranger (walking safari) which will end with a sundowner. A unique experience! You spend another night at Africa Safari Ikoma.

Serengeti National Park Tanzania
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Area
The fourth day of 11-Day Best of Tanzania & Zanzibar Safari, we spend one more day in Serengeti and late afternoon we head to Ndutu/South Serengeti where we overnight Africa Safari South Serengeti. The area is famous for the calving season of the Great Migration, an absolute highlight of the annual wildebeest migration.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Today we wake up early in the morning and after breakfast we will drive into the amazing Ngorongoro crater. The Ngorongoro crater is the largest intact crater in the world. The crater life estimated 30,000 large mammals. Due to its natural borders, there is an abundance of wildlife throughout the conservation area which is home to the Big Five including the African Black Rhino as well as hyena, zebra and elephants to name a few. In the afternoon we drive to Africa Safari Lake Manyara where we spend another night.

Tanzania Comfort Wildlife Safari
Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park
Today we will go to Lake Manyara. This park is known for its breath-taking panoramic views, waterfalls, babbling brooks with clear water and hot springs. We do a game drive in Lake Manyara all day and if you like to walk you can also book a 2-hour walking safari. On foot you can enjoy giraffes, buffalos and other animals from a good distance. In the afternoon we drive back to Arusha where we arrive before dinner. You will overnight at Africa Safari Arusha hotel.

Day 7: Zanzibar – Stone Town
When you arrive on Zanzibar, our local staff will pick you up and bring you to the hotel. The first night you will stay at the Shaba Boutique Hotel, which is located in a beautiful building in the heart of the old centre of Stone Town. In the afternoon (and/or the next morning) you can explore Stone Town. Walk through the narrow streets and capture the feeling of the old colonial Arabic Architecture. You can visit the former slave market, the Anglican Cathedral, the House of Wonders, or the old Arab fort.

Day 8-10: Zanzibar Island
The next day of 11-Day Best of Tanzania & Zanzibar Safari, we will bring you to the beautiful Zanzibar Bay Resort. This beachfront resort offers 104 rooms, a huge infinity swimming pool with a tropical island, a pool bar and our magical Jetty bar on the Indian Ocean. The beaches are pristine and the ocean is clear blue. You will enjoy three nights at this beautiful resort on all-inclusive basis.
