Note: Arusha, a city in Tanzania, East Africa, is located at the base of the volcanic Mount Meru. It is a gateway to various safari destinations as well as to Africa’s highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m), situated some 100 kilometres northeast.

- Accommodation: Gran Melia Arusha
- Meals & Drinks: Dinner (Breakfast & lunch not included), Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Go on a full-day game drive in the park and enjoy lunch. In the evening, drive to your lodge for a sunset dinner and overnight stay.
Note: The park is located slightly off the main safari route. This lovely, quiet park in northern Tanzania is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travelers to the region either miss visiting Tarangire or venture into the park for only a matter of hours, leaving parts of Tarangire virtually untouched.
- Main Destination: Tarangire National Park
- Accommodation: Lemala Mpingo Ridge
- Meals & Drinks: All meals included, drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara for a game drive in the park. In the afternoon, your 8-Day Essence of Tanzania Luxury Wildlife Safari driver will provide you with a full lunch. Continue with your game drive until evening, then head to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Note: Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants.
- Main Destination: Lake Manyara National Park
- Accommodation: Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge
- Meals & Drinks: All meals included, drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Note: Serengeti National Park is well known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the “Big Five”, named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters. The Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa, due to the abundance of prey. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. The African leopard, a reclusive predator, is commonly seen in the Seronera region but is present throughout the park with a population of around 1,000.
- Main Destination: Serengeti National Park

Note: The Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Masai Mara Game Reserve across the border in Kenya protect the greatest and most varied collection of terrestrial wildlife on earth. It is one of the last great migratory systems still intact. The Serengeti is the jewel in the crown of Tanzania’s protected areas, which altogether make up some 14% of the country’s land area, a conservation record that few other countries can match.

About 20km across, 600 meters deep and 300sq km in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder.
